"I had used the Macca Shaving Gel before The Body Shop closed up a couple of years ago. I was hesitant to try this as I really loved the Gel, but I have to say I am a convert. This moisturizes and creates a great buffer between your skin and razor. That said, you will still get an incredibly close shave. Don't hesitate to try it today. Bonus note: it only takes a little, so the jar lasts a long time."

"I'm a female. . . and have used this for years. So they really need to remove the "for men," on the label. In fact, I'm sure just as many women use this if not more. It gave me the closest shave while also keeping my skin moisturized. Since it's been gone, I've had to resort to using a shave oil and I hate it. I still get bumps, and can't see where I've shaved and always miss areas. In the year that I've been without this and the body butters, (I was always stocked up - loyal fan of 30 yrs) I've had major itchy dermatitis or eczema hives.
